One of my favorite Christmas traditions that we do as a family is making Gingerbread Houses! We save our Halloween candy to decorate our houses, but due to the recipe we use (structural, but not tasty!), they are always just for decoration.
This year, my boys wanted to makes ones they could actually eat, so I found this adorable tiny house cookie cutter! It makes the perfect sized little houses, and it couldn’t be easier to use.
There may have been a small flour-mustache/beard competition as well, but it’s all part of the fun of cooking! 🙂
It was a fantastically fun day for all of us, and we ended up with a whole town of little houses. Best of all, they were delicious!
